Kid Cudi Partners With Snapchat To Launch Under the Ghost

Today, we’re launching Under the Ghost, a new music performance series hosted at Snapchat’s Santa Monica studio that brings unique performances and conversations directly to the fans. 

Under the Ghost isn’t about polished perfection, but rather an unfiltered glimpse into the creative process. Picture an artist, not on a grand stage, but in the intimate setting of a studio, sharing raw takes of new music. It’s your digital backstage pass, fostering a sense of genuine connection that goes beyond the typical artist-fan dynamic. 

Under the Ghost invites fans into the artist's inner circle.

We’re so excited to announce Kid Cudi as the first official Under the Ghost artist timed to the release of his new single “Neverland.” This week, Kid Cudi performed a pre-release concert for an intimate audience of Snap Stars and superfans, where he debuted “Neverland” plus more unreleased music live for the first time. He also sat down with Snap’s Head of Music Strategy, Manny Adler, to answer questions about his new music. 

As of today, “Neverland” is available globally. Co-written by Grammy Award Winning Writer/Artist/Producer Justin Tranter alongside a team of acclaimed collaborators, the track marks the beginning of an exciting new era for the genre-defying artist. The release signals the start of a fresh creative chapter, with more music to follow.

The single also sets the stage for Cudi’s upcoming short film of the same name, Neverland, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ti West and produced by Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions. The film will premiere this June at the Tribeca Film Festival.
